Catholic Schools Week 2019

Check out the way that the Christ the King school community celebrated Catholic Schools Week!
During Catholic Schools Week,  we have had many wonderful, community-celebrating events! Sunday began the week with a Mass with our student choir, cantors, lectors and servers, followed by a parish pancake breakfast and tour of the school. Our students honored first responders with a reception on Monday as we celebrated our community. Vocations Day on Tuesday saw classes adopt seminarians living in the Christ the King house, offering prayers and support throughout their formation; we ended the day gathering to recite the rosary for vocations. Wednesday was Grandparents Day and they joined their grandchildren for Mass and classroom visit. Our guests also viewed displays created by our middle school students after they researched countries around the world in our annual "Festival of Nations." Volunteer coaches were thanked on Thursday at the pep rally and volleyball game with the 8th graders competing against our faculty and staff. What a great week of celebrating Catholic education at Christ the King!
